We've been living in Boise for about two months now, and our time is almost up! We'll be moving back to Utah next month and I can't believe this summer has gone by so quickly. We've had a lot of fun here -- trying new restaurants, visiting the Zoo, hiking trails, frequenting the local Farmer's Market, lounging in the park, etc.
Today, we ventured out to Nampa and a Lavender Farm! Lakeside Lavender is open to the public for a limited time each summer and we went for a visit. The fields are gorgeous, and of course, smell delicious. You can gather your own bunch of lavender (as much as you can stuff into a twist tie) for $6. What a deal!
It was 102 degrees outside (but the heat only intensified the lavender smell, so I was okay with it), but we had a great time! Ellie liked the smell of the lavender too :)
Christian was a great sport -- here he is helping to harvest the lavender.
And Ellie was a great sport for taking so many pictures for Mommy :)
And now for my favorite:
How fun! I love all the pictures of Ellie at the Lavendar farm--so picturesque! I must admit that we're pretty excited to have you back here in a few weeks!
