A sweet tooth and a green thumb

This past week my dear Grandma Palmer turned 79. For her birthday, Stephie Lynne and I were in charge of making a cake. We thought about making normal cupcakes for about 2 seconds and then decided it had been way too long since we created an edible masterpiece.

For her birthday present, Grandma wanted the family to come over and work in her yard -- and thus the theme of our cupcakes was born! When we came to the party, we told GGma we had done our yard work ahead of time...

Carrots, lettuce, radishes, and peas. They were the sweetest veggies I've ever eaten.
